Fidelity National Information Solutions inherited a long and profitable history of MLS solutions when it acquired VISTAinfo this year. That history started with printed MLS books in 1975 and continues today as we introduce version 2.0 of RE/Xplorer®, the next generation Internet based MLS.

With RE/Xplorer, Compass™ and Maestro™, Fidelity National Information Solutions currently supports 43% of all MLS organizations, and 82% of the top 100 "Big MLS" organizations in the U.S. ranked by Clareity. Compass has been upgraded nine times since its release.

VISTAinfo introduced RE/Xplorer, the market's first browser-drive MLS, in 1997. Since then it has been updated three times, with each version offering new functionality and more powerful connections.VISTAinfo was also first to market with integrated mapping capabilities, an interface to personal digital assistants, a virtual tour interface, and property disclosure reporting. All these were integrated into our base products without upgrade costs to the MLS.

RE/Xplorer 2.0 features unmatched technological innovations for enhanced searches, contact management, communication and graphics. Architectural updates include eXtensible Markup Language (XML) and eXtensible Stylesheet Language (XSL), allowing real estate professionals to customize, search and display data more effectively. The system scales easily to accommodate MLS growth and adapts to organizations of varying sizes. Access for Web-enabled phones and other wireless technologies is expected in subsequent updates. Installation of RE/Xplorer 2.0 will start in July.
