Dear Real Estate Professional,
Since early this year we have been working
hard at combining the resources and technology assets from Fidelity
National Financial (FNF), VISTAinfo and RISCO to form the MLS
Systems Division of Fidelity National Information Solutions (FNIS).
Although we haven't reached our goal of full integration we're
well on our way to providing you the best services possible.
We have one simple goal and that is to provide a one-platform
Internet-based MLS system that has an open and flexible architecture,
"best in industry" functionality, utilizes an industry
accepted database and can be installed quickly. We want to install
the best systems faster and upgrade them more often.
The MLS Systems Division is customer focused
because we empower our employees to implement pro-active customer
care. We offer information integration with other FNIS organizations
tailored to customer needs and distributed on-demand. And, our
systems are reliable because our technology, development and installation
processes have set the industry standard for nearly five decades.
We look forward to you letting us know your
comments about our organization and this month's issue of FIRSTview.
Email me at mlsfeedback@fnis.com.

Industry Outlook
"This could be our second best year
in the history of housing," said Dr. David Lereah,
senior vice president and chief economist for the National
Association of REALTORS® (NAR)
in his opening comments to the Charlottesville Area Association
of REALTORS® on Thursday,
June 7, 2001. And then came September

Featured Power User
Dave Ramey was looking to FNIS for a Galaxy
system administration solution that would meet the unique needs
of the Olympic Listing Service (OLS), which serves three MLS
organizations located in Port Angeles, Port Townsend and Sequim
on Washington State's North Olympic Peninsula. With each MLS
supplying system administrators with varying levels of technical
expertise, OLS needed a custom access
level that would accommodate day-to-day administration of
agent and office functions while protecting sensitive system
functions.
